EVOFORT1 is compatible with 2011 Taurus 40-bit.....is there such a thing as an 80-bit?

Question

I have a customer with a 2011 Taurus key start.   His keys do not have the normal HA/SA markings - there are no markings.  

 

I see the FORT1 is compatible with 40 bit Taurus only.  Does that mean:

 

A) There are both 40 & 80 bit, but only the 40 works

 

or

 

B) The 2011 Taurus is only made with 40-bit?

All Ford Taurus are 40 bit.
