2010. Taurus will not stay on

Can wires are as described. Door lock wires not touched. Door pin wire cut. Does the answer above mean door pin wire should not be cut?

Rejoin the door pin in case you might have the wrong wire, or that the wires are reversed. There too many green/purple wires in Ford vehicles. It's easy to use the wrong one.
