2010 taurus will not stay on after decrypt or program

I programmed the decrypt or and was able to start vehicle from inside house but car will not stay on for more than three or four seconds. What else could it be
related to an answer for: 2010 taurus decryptor question

The remote starting is not detecting tach or the tach setting needs to be changed.
