Excursion Red and Yellow lights won't go away

I wired a evo-one into my 2003 ford excusrion trying to used the decryptor and learning the key the modules red lights will not go away. i have checked the wires 4 times and cant figure it out.

Not sure which firmware you are currently using but stick with the default out of the box firmware, 4.18

Reset then reprogram.

Get rid of t-taps if any are used :D

I reset the firmware like you said. I have to use the dcryptor with the one key process and in the instructions after you insert the key and turn into the run/on position the red is supposed to go out and yellow come on and it doesnt. Also no t taps not trying to burn my truck to the ground.

Module is not reading key data.

 

Few things to look into..

• What is the evo service number?
• Is this a 2002 by any chance? Go by the VIN, 10th digit from the left. Should a be 3 or 2.
• Rx can be Grey/Orange or Brown/Black
• Tx can be White/Light Green or Red/Black
