2005 VW Golf EVO-One key wrap, slow blue flash after programming

The starter programs okay however after the blue quick flash during ignition, once the ignition turns off the quick flash stops as it should and the blue light begins to slow flash.

I can't get into remote pairing mode or anything.

Ideas?

Do you have the service number of the module ?

Problem solved, had to reset the module, (release on red).

Then it programmed correctly, pair remotes and all is well.

sounds like the module was used before.
