2020 Toyota Corolla sedan will no remote start

0 votes
So basically I had it working for a couple years already and now I went to add a rf kit and it won’t remote start.

I’ve reflashed, followed the instructions to a tea and had zero issues but won’t remote start.

I try 3 times lock and the hazards just flash a 4th time and nothing happens

Hello,

Sounds like you may have put the unit in valet mode (evo-one).

If the red led is on solid under the yellow loop that ws cut then indeed it is.

To exit valet mode:

- ign on

- press the valet swtich 3x

- ign off

The red led will go out once you exit valet mode.

Please note the valet swtich is the 2 pin push button that plugs into the evo-one NOT the programming button that is part of the module.

Best regards.

I have a evo- all, does it have a valet mode?
What is the S/N number to the evo-all?

Is the led on the antenna you installed on solid?

S/n: 001A07252127

The rf antenna is not always on but does flash and I was successful in pairing my key fobs with it and installing that part of it

My next suggestion is the following:

1- Master reset the unit in the vehicle: https://fortin.ca/en/download/61931/61931.pdf

2- Return to the pc connect the evo to the flasher and turn ON/OFF the following options:

- A11 - OFF

- C1 - ON

- D1 - ON

- D2 - ON

- D6 - ON

- H & H2 - ON

- Do not touch any of the other optionsm simply leave them in their default position.

3- Return to the vehicle and re program the unit to the car including re running dcryptor

4- Program rf kit to the unit once dcryptor is finished

5 - Test 3x lock and remote start from the rf kit
This worked my good sir, thanks
Glad that got it going for you.

Best regards.
