Can not get past step 6 no blue light in step 7

Question

I have a 2010 ford escape. auto trans and 6cyl engine.

I can not get the blue light to light for step 7. Checked all the can connections and even solidered them. they are correct as the instructions ask them to be.

HELP?

I would phone tech support.

Unplug all connections, hold button and plug in black connector, wait for lights to cycle, when blue light, let go of button, blue light should blink and program can bus.
