Compatibility with 2016 Volkswagen GTI

I'm confused with compatibility regarding the 2016 VW GTI.

I see options listed for the standard MK7 Golf and Golf R, as well as the MK6-generation GTI.

Would the systems for the MK7 Golf or Golf R work with my GTI?

What is the vin number to the vehicle?

Is it key start or push to start?

Hi Derek,

Don't have the VIN on hand at the moment, but if it helps, here's the rest of the info I know off-hand:

  • 2016 GTI w/ Performance Package
  • DSG
  • Push-button ignition
