Mitsubishi. Guide# 12601. Parking Lights.

Question

The guide shows wiring into the hazard/turn signals (green & purple) instead of the actual parking light wires (yellow & pink).

Any particular reason why this change was made?

Using the parking light wires will cause a problem to the rear lights on the vehicle on some occasion.

This is why we use hazard lights instead.
