Hardwire white 20-pin connector for THAR-NIS1?

+1 vote
I'm looking at the THAR-NIS1  Install Guide for stand alone mode and I am wondering if I need to hardwire anything for the white 20 pin connector?  To me it looks as though I need to, but maybe not because of the T-Harness?  Can you give me any insight?

To me it looks like I need to hardwire -
Ingnition
Lock - could I grab right from door?
Unlock - could I grab right from door?
Parking Light OUT - Where is this connecting to?  Diagram says out but don't see a connection.
Driver Door-Pin - could I grab right from door?
White/Black to Push-to-start

Also what is the Lt. Blue  and the Lt. Blue/Black wires going to the 20-pin connector?

I'll be using this for a 2011 Nissan Murano.

Hi Matt,

From the 20-pin connector, a required connection would be:

White/Black (A19):

  • For remote starting the vehicle, you technically only need the white/black wire (all other connections are done through the Tharness) going to the push-to-start button. This is what will start/stop the vehicle.

From the 20-pin again, you need to connect the lock and unlock (Green and White wires). Most Nissans by factory will unlock your doors when the vehicle goes from ignition ON to ignition OFF. This same scenario would happen when remote starting but the EVO will relock your doors.

The driver door pin is connected as RAP shutdown. This will shut off your radio after remote start.

For the security of mechanics or anyone working on the engine. I highly recommend installing a hood pin or valet switch as pointed out on the DK.Blue wire (A8).
