Hi Marc,

We have a Ford fix for the EVO-Ride hardware 3+ in firmware 0.17. This should only be used if the module programs but you cannot remote start properly afterwards.

There is also a quick connection modification on the Tx wire which will need to be done when using firmware 0.17.

  • Cut the vehicles Tx wire
  • Connect the White/Red and White/Green to either end of the cut Tx wire. orientation of which one you put car side and connector does not matter.
  • Connect the Yellow/Black of the EVO-Ride (Tx output) on the car side

Since your unit is actualy not programming though...

What hardware do you have?

Are both keys master keys?

Would Tx and Rx be reversed?
I haven t got car back yet for that purpose. But to keep things easy, not fun to reach ignition switch on a 2010 Taurus, can I use a key overide all for a 2010 Taurus, being a 40 Bit key ?

Thanks.
Yes you can, i dont know why it's not on the website. It is in the Key-Override-ALL install guide though.

I have to switch to Evo All . But now  when I connect Evo All let button go when red led on . Connect remaining plugs. Clic once on button red led off then on. Turn key on both red and yellow led stay on.   Evo is  6    4.18

Do I have to update firmware ?
Ok  Had a poor soldering on RX wire. I l bite the bullet.

I am now able to gather key encryption.
I dont know why, but everytime theres a bad connection in Fords, its on the RX wire.
What amaze me , I puled hard and it felt solid. but I could see some of wire skin was sort of bubbling , Anyway, All is gould . ( In automotive, believe only half of what you see , my uncle use to say )
