Step 9 no blue light flashing

Question

2018 silverado. I get to step nine and all lights function except the blue light never comes on and flashes. When I remove the key from ignition, blue light comes on solid. Any ideas? I checked the can connection and it's good. Thanks!

blue light flashing is directly related to CAN. If the wire is NOT green at the OBD2, connect CAN at the BCM instead

Wire at obd2 is green. Good connection with a wire nut. The blue light turns on solid, after ignition is shut off and key is pulled. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Remove the wire nut and do a normal splice connection.
