THAR ONE HON7 - CRV Push to start

0 votes
Hi, sorry for my english. I bought the whole set of Evo One and Hon7 lastweek.

I already have the guidance for installation but i dont understand the note "Cut3" mean.

When i look at the guide, i said that i need to Cut3 blue cable to D4 and D6 in the pin. What does it mean?

Is it mean i have to cut the blue cable out and connect the remain cable to D6 and D4?!

Or just use some T splice to connect the D6 and D4 to the blue cable.

Please help.

Thanks

You need to cut the blue wire and connect D4 and D6 to either end.

Hi, thanks for your help. But i want to be completely clear before i do it. You mean that i have to cut the wire out completely from the car pin and connect it to D4 and D6?!

Or i just use some T splice to connect it with D4 and D6 <= this way mean not cutting anything?!
You need to cut the vehicles wire.

This will leave you with 2 ends, one end goes to the vehicles connector, the other end goes up into the harness of the car.

Connect the white green to the vehicle side and the white red to the connector side.
thanks, so when i cut the blue wire, it leaves me with 2 ends, green and red, then i use those 2 ends to connect to D4 and D6?

If i cut the Blue one, is it affect my car function?

What if i dont cut the blue one, just like the Thar One Hon6 which is not require cutting anything.
If you do not cut the wire the take over feature will not work.

Yes the wire will still function normally after the wire is cut and you make the connections.
what is the take over feature? I only need it to use remote start?

I really dont want to cut anything as i am not sure how to connect it back together haha.

So just describe what i gonna do:

1. Cut the blue wire any point in the wire and it will expose the 2 end inside the blue wire

2. Connect those 2 ends to the D4 and D6 from the T harness.

is that correct.

I still confuse about cutting wire, in the picture it show that i need to cut and connect the end part of 12 pin to D4 and D6. I mean, when u cut something u will have 2 pcs, 1 still plug into the pin, another one that free, that what i m confusing. D4 and D6 will connect to the 12 Pin via blue cable or connect to the free blue cable. Or Something else...

"1. Cut the blue wire any point in the wire and it will expose the 2 end inside the blue wire

2. Connect those 2 ends to the D4 and D6 from the T harness.

is that correct."

Yes that is correct.

If you dont want take over or to cut any wires, I suggest getting a HON6 instead of the 7.

Anyway, i bought it already, just because i though it a lastest version so not cutting stuff.

Is it really a 2 small wires inside that blue cable...i see that the cable is too small already. Can i use t splice to connect those small cable?

and will the remote start function work with out cutting thay cable?

i

like this.

"and will the remote start function work with out cutting thay cable?"

No it will not work properly.

i cannot see the picture, can you send it via my gmail bennyhoang92123@gmail.com

it will be very helpful to me if i can see how it look in real life.

its the same picture as listed in the guide.

Page 3, where it says cut, cut.

Then connect as shown.

ah, now i understand something, it mean the wire in the Pin go with D6, and the other ends go with D4...
